About me

meet colin 🙂

If you’re on this page, then hopefully that means that you like my work and want to know a little bit more about me. So here we go!

I was born and raised in Liverpool, but I now call Herne Bay in Kent my home. Living near the sea is pretty amazing. Mainly because you can get away with feeling like you are permanently on holiday!

I am available to hire throughout the UK and abroad. Destination weddings are definitely a “Hell Yeah!” response, so please ask away!

Tell me more about you, Colin!

I love what I do, it is my dream job which is great news for you guys cos I have fun when I’m shooting weddings!

I’m happily married to my lovely wife Emma, and we own a cocker spaniel called Gracie who is completely nuts and who we treat as our child!

Those who know anything about me, know this! I love Coffee and Chocolate, which probably explains why I love Mocha so much..my most ordered drink from a coffee shop!

Humour is a big part of who I am. I love having a laugh and spending time with friends and family. It’s something I also like to bring into my wedding photography and like to make the day lighthearted and fun. I like to get to know my couples beforehand so that they and I do not feel on the day that they are spending it with a stranger!

What is your photography Style?

My photography style……I like to document the day as it unfolds with as many natural and un-posed moments as possible. This is mixed in as well with some light guided direction to get beautiful and creative wedding portraits. I love to capture all the real emotion and joy of the day, those funny unplanned moments, friends and family going crazy on the dancefloor and those little looks of love between the bride and the groom.

That said, of course I take the formal family and group shots, but prefer to keep these to a minimum. This allows the day to run smoothly and primarily,  allowing you to spend quality time with your friends and family on the day and not posing for too many forced pictures!

All about the happy couple!

With the bride and groom portraits I like to whisk you away when the light is at its best for at least 20 minutes and for as long as you want of course, but always ever mindful of you having as much time as possible to party with your friends and family!

Are we a match?

If my style seems right up your street and you’re a relaxed laid back couple, then I would LOVE to hear from you!

So to sum it all up briefly….. I am completely awesome and probably the best wedding photographer in the world and you would be completely nuts not to hire me, in fact your day just wouldn’t be the same without me!

What to Consider

A professional wedding photographer is an important part of any wedding. They will capture all the important moments and details of the big day, from the first kiss to the last dance. Wedding photos are a treasured keepsake that will be looked back on for years to come.

A professional photographer will know how to make the most of the lighting, setting, and composition to create stunning images that truly capture the spirit of the day. They will also be experienced in dealing with large groups and recapturing moments if things don’t go according to plan. With so much riding on their shoulders, it’s important to choose a wedding photographer that you can trust to deliver beautiful results.

Yep, I think that just about covers it!
