The sun is shining brightly in the sky as the waves gently lap against Herne Bay Pier. The beach hut wedding venue on Herne Bay Pier is adorned with colourful and vibrant summer flowers, creating a picturesque setting for the outdoor ceremony. This was everything that Natalie and Adrian were after for their wedding day. A fun, relaxed and non traditional setting to exchange their vows and celebrate with family and friends.

As the ceremony begins, with guests seated in front of the beach hut venue, they are also joined by well wishers, members of the public who watch on. The Pier is open to the public during the day as well, adding a unique charm all of its own to getting married here.

The vows are exchanged against the backdrop of the sea, creating a serene and intimate atmosphere. After the “I dos,” Natalie and Adrian are showered with bright, colourful confetti by their guests.

The celebration continues with a casual and relaxed reception on the pier, where tables are set out in a private fenced off area at the back of the pier for the wedding party to enjoy. Set against the backdrop of the sea and the helter skelter it really is a unique setting to have your reception.

A highlight of the day is the carousel, set up for guests to enjoy rides and relive the carefree days of their youth. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph at this venue, as guests let their hair down and the children scream with laughter!

As the afternoon draws on I take Natalie and Adrian down on to the beach for some portraits with the beautiful backdrop of the pier and the sea.
