Beach hut wedding

I’m a recommended photographer at this venue which is literally on my doorstep and I couldn’t be happier about it! It’s a real gem of a venue and that is down to the amazing Kirsty and her team who own and run the venue here for weddings by the sea. They look after their couples so well through every step of the process and especially on the day itself. The venue which is a licensed beach hut situated on Herne Bay pier itself makes for a truly fun, unique and alternative setting for your wedding day. As an addition to the wedding venue, Kirsty also owns a 4 story townhouse which has been lovingly renovated. This is called 83 Mortimer and is hired out as a Air bnb for couples and their guests to use prior to and on the wedding day.

Lacey & Dave’s wedding was one of my favourite’s at this venue so far. They were the first to take advantage of 83 Mortimer and used it for bridal prep and for the family to stay in after the wedding itself. It’s also only a short 5 minute walk across to the venue as well! The day itself was beautiful and sunny, although a little breezy at times! The indoor ceremony inside the beach hut was followed by a drinks and food reception on the pier itself. Lacey and Dave celebrating with their family and friends late into the evening. For weddings by the sea, this is one venue that certainly delivers, especially if you’re looking for something that little bit different!
