Old Finsbury Town Hall Wedding – Elkie & Ben

Elkie & Ben’s Old Finsbury Town Hall wedding took place in October 2021. Elkie & Ben had booked me for the ceremony and the reception afterwards. In their own words they described it as a relaxed ceremony with family and friends and one big massive party! The party celebration was amazing, and hands down the most fun and energetic I’ve photographed yet!

Old Finsbury Town Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed building set in Central London’s Clerkenwell district. The venue exudes opulence and glamour with its art nouveau vintage decor. It also has a beautiful art – deco entrance canopy, which is great for portraits! The ceremony and reception were held upstairs in 2 different rooms. The ceremony was held in The Council chamber and the reception in the Great Hall. The Great Hall is a beautiful ornately decorated room and a real showstopper! This venue really is a hidden gem!

This London wedding also had cuteness overload alerts cranked up to the max! Elkie and Ben had their twin baby girls along for their wedding as well as their nephew as a paige boy. Elkie & Ben were definitely competing for attention on their wedding day. In fact one of the twins had to be held during the ceremony by Mum to stop her crying, which was really sweet! Once the formalities were out of the way, it was party time. For entertainment they had hired a band called The Ways to play. Their friend is also a keyboard player in the band. These guys were awesome! The whole place started rocking as soon as they started playing.

I loved photographing Elkie & Ben’s day for them and their friends and family were so friendly and welcoming. From start to finish it was a great day and I think the photographs below show what an awesome day it was!
